# Git3

Git3 is infrastructure that brings Git repositories on-chain, enabling code ownership, censorship resistance, and monetization through the x402 protocol. The platform stores complete Git history permanently on the Irys blockchain, with each repository minted as an NFT.

The project uses a "vampire attack" strategy through GitHub Actions integration, allowing developers to maintain existing workflows while gaining blockchain benefits. MVP is live at https://git3.io.
