# Git3

Git3 is infrastructure that brings Git repositories on-chain, enabling code ownership, censorship resistance, and monetization through the x402 protocol. The project stores complete Git history permanently on Irys blockchain, with each repository existing as a unique on-chain NFT. Git3 uses a "vampire attack" strategy through GitHub Actions integration, allowing developers to bring code on-chain without changing their existing workflows.
