Cuts v3 9-claim arc to 6 hero claims with one slot per domain (AI disruption / internet finance / AI alignment / collective SI / contribution / telos).

Three structural moves

  1. Internet finance collapsed 2→1. v3 had two near-identical finance openers. Merge promotes the deepest line — "humans constrain AI through pricing, not permission" — to lead.

  2. Engagement beat at slot 5. v3 had no on-ramp; visitors walked the diagnosis with no place to participate. Slot 5 names that CI scales, emergent systems aren't constrained by their start, and what teleo becomes is shaped by who contributes.

  3. Plain language replaces KB shorthand in headlines. "Singleton", "attractor", "Moloch" → "one dominant system", "default trajectory", "concentrating wealth and power". Technical terms move to steelman/expanded body where evidence can ground them.

What ships

  • Schema v4 with new design principle 7 (plain language over KB shorthand)
  • 6 claims, each with title + subtitle + steelman + 3-4 evidence_claims + 2 counter_arguments + contributors
  • All evidence slugs verified against codex main
  • All claims attribute originator role to m3taversal per governance rule

Frontend integration

livingip-web/src/data/homepage-rotation.json snapshots this file. Oberon syncs in a separate livingip-web PR after this lands. Indicator updates from "1 of 9" → "1 of 6" via existing claims.length reference in claim-rotation.tsx — no UI redesign needed.

Review path

Leo-territory edit (agents/leo/curation/) but homepage stack affects every visitor — requesting peer review from Rio (internet finance — slot 2 is in his domain) before merge. m3ta has reviewed and locked all 6 claim texts.

Cuts the v3 9-claim argument arc to 6 hero claims with one slot per
domain (AI disruption / internet finance / AI alignment / collective SI /
contribution / telos).

Three structural moves:

1. Internet finance collapsed from 2 slots to 1. The two v3 finance
claims shared an identical opener and read as duplicates. The merge
promotes "humans constrain AI through pricing, not permission" to
lead and folds rails + primitives into one claim.

2. Engagement beat added at slot 5. The v3 stack had no on-ramp —
visitors walked the diagnosis with no surface to participate.
Slot 5 names that collective intelligence scales, emergent systems
aren't constrained by their start, and what teleo becomes is shaped
   by who contributes.

3. Plain language replaces KB shorthand in headlines. "Singleton",
"attractor", "Moloch" are KB vocabulary — precise to a researcher,
opaque to a cold visitor. Headlines now use plain language; the
technical terms move to the steelman or expanded body.

Schema v4 adds a 7th design principle codifying the plain-language rule.
All six claims attribute originator role to m3taversal per the governance
rule (agents only get sourcer credit for pipeline PRs from their own
research sessions; human-directed synthesis attributes to the human).

Evidence chains verified against codex main:
- 18 evidence_claims across 6 claims (3 per slot, 4 on slot 5)
- 12 counter_arguments (2 per slot)
- All slug/path references present in domains/, foundations/, core/, convictions/

this lands. Indicator updates from "1 of 9" → "1 of 6" via the existing
claims.length reference in claim-rotation.tsx — no UI redesign needed.

  1. Factual accuracy — The claims, steelmans, evidence rationales, and counter-arguments presented in the homepage-rotation.json and .md files are factually consistent with the established TeleoHumanity knowledge base and its core grand-strategy arguments.
  2. Intra-PR duplicates — There are no identical paragraphs of evidence copy-pasted across different claims within this PR; the content in the JSON and Markdown files is intentionally mirrored for the same set of claims.
  3. Confidence calibration — This PR curates existing claims rather than introducing new ones with explicit confidence levels, and the presentation of the selected claims, steelmans, and rebuttals implies a high and appropriate confidence in their foundational nature for the homepage.
  4. Wiki links — The PR uses slug references for evidence claims and tension_claim_slug fields (which are currently null), but it does not contain any [[wiki links]] that could be broken.

PR Review: Homepage Rotation v4 Schema Update

1. Schema

Both files are curation artifacts (type: curation), not claims or entities, so the frontmatter schema is appropriate for this content type — they document the homepage claim stack rather than making knowledge claims themselves, and the JSON sidecar correctly structures the runtime data with schema_version, description, design_principles, arc, and claims arrays.

2. Duplicate/redundancy

The v3→v4 compression explicitly addresses redundancy by merging two internet-finance claims that "shared an identical opener" into one claim, and the six resulting claims cover distinct domains (AI disruption, internet finance, AI alignment, collective SI, contribution, telos) without overlap in their core arguments.

3. Confidence

This criterion does not apply — curation files document which claims appear on the homepage rotation but do not themselves make confidence-rated knowledge claims.

All evidence_claims reference existing KB slugs with documented paths (domains/grand-strategy/, domains/ai-alignment/, foundations/collective-intelligence/, core/mechanisms/, core/teleohumanity/, convictions/, core/) and the api_fetchable flags correctly indicate which paths are currently exposed via API versus pending FOUND-001 ticket — no broken links detected in the claim references.

5. Source quality

This criterion does not apply — curation files organize existing KB claims rather than introducing new source material, and the referenced claims (Woolley c-factor, Anthropic RSP rollback, Anthropic Project Deal, futarchy mechanisms) are already sourced in their canonical locations.

6. Specificity

The six hero claims are falsifiable and specific: "Anthropic's two-year RSP is the empirical proof" can be fact-checked, "decision markets and ownership coins let humans constrain AI through pricing not permission" makes a testable architectural claim, "collective intelligence scales" references measurable c-factor research, and each claim includes counter-arguments showing where a critic could attack with evidence.

Structural assessment: The v3→v4 revision improves the homepage rotation by (1) removing redundant finance claims, (2) adding an engagement funnel at slot 5, (3) replacing KB jargon with plain language in headlines while preserving technical precision in steelmans, and (4) tightening the arc to one claim per domain. The "plain language over KB shorthand" principle addresses a real cold-reader legibility problem — terms like "singleton," "attractor," and "Moloch" are precise to researchers but opaque to visitors, and moving them to expanded views where evidence can ground them is the right call.

The operational notes correctly document that this is a curation schema change, not a knowledge claim change, and that the frontend integration updates livingip-web/src/data/homepage-rotation.json in a separate PR. The contributor attribution follows the governance rule (agents get credit only for pipeline PRs from their own research sessions, not human-directed synthesis).
