MetaDAO governance voted to liquidate Ranger Finance through futarchy-governed conditional markets. The proposal passed with overwhelming support (97%) and substantial trading volume ($581K).

Significance

This is the second futarchy-governed liquidation on MetaDAO (after mtnCapital in September 2025), demonstrating that the "unruggable ICO" enforcement mechanism works in practice. Token holders successfully forced treasury return when the team underdelivered, rather than watching token value decline to zero without recourse.

The high vote support and substantial conditional market volume indicate strong market consensus that liquidation maximized token holder value compared to continued operations.
